I bought mermaid tails from this site for my two sisters and Me, and they were amazing!
Overall, it’s pretty easy to get on when you’re dry, and once you’re in the water, as long as you’re a decent swimmer, you’ll be fine.
My youngest sister is nine, and did have a tough time learning how move in the water with the tail on, as it does require a bit of strength, but with practice she got the hang of it!
I’m nineteen, and my other sister is sixteen, and since we’ve been swimming for ages, for us it proved to be no difficulty at all!
We swam with these tails in a lake with repeated use over a couple of weeks, and the colors stayed exactly the same, though I would assume the color would fade if left out in the sun…
For the fit, My youngest sister sized up to a 10-12 so she can grow, but It was a bit loose on her. Both me and my other sister sized down.
I’m 5’9 and typically a M-XL depending on the brand, but I chose a Small adult, and the fit was perfect! The tails stretch A LOT, so if you’re in between sizes, I’d definitely recommend sizing down.
My sixteen year old sister is usually a s-m in clothes and chose an xs that seemed to fit great on her! I actually tried her tail, and it fit me too, just a bit snug.
My only critiques /complaints is that
1. Unlike my sisters tails, Mine had no velcro at fin, which was annoying, as it does open up when playing roughly in the water…
2. The monofin isn’t the best quality, I wish it had a divider to keep your feet separated in the inside so they don’t rub together, and wish it was fully sewn shut around the bottom edge to avoid sand from entering…
Overall, We’re super happy with our purchase, this turned our summer into an mako mermaids/ h2o dream!
I’ll definitely be coming back to this site once I save up so more, I’ve got my eye on some of the elite tails..!

I love this tail ! Whether I'm taking a bath (to relax) or going into the pool, it follows me everywhere (Sometimes I sleep with the tail on) ! The tail is very comfortable and beautiful, especially with the glitter on it. I'm a very young adult and I've finally been able to go back to childhood and do the things I've never been able to do.
My mermaids are so happy! I bought two tails and fins for my 7 and 12 year old daughters. There are great instructions, safety reminders, a checklist, and some videos online that are helpful for newbies! The quality seems great, and although we've only had them a short time, they're holding up well so far! My girls wear them constantly, inside and out in our pool..
